Well Worth It Project Bag – Structured Knitting and Crochet Project Bag

Some designs are worth coming back to, and the Well Worth It Project Bag is proof. Inspired by the front panel of our beloved Worth Doing Tote (a Hankmas darling that earned its permanent place in the lineup), this project bag takes that familiar practical pocket design and makes it something that doesn't have to carry everything and the kitchen sink.

Measuring approximately 13" wide × 8" tall × 4" deep, it’s perfectly sized for mid-sized knitting and crochet projects, think hats, mittens, shawls, and socks.

A zippered pocket on the front keeps your small essentials right where you want them: stitch markers, scissors, notes, lip balm, or that one crochet hook that keeps trying to escape. Everything stays organized and easy to grab, so you can spend less time rummaging and more time stitching, which is always the goal.

Why You’ll Love It

If you love the functionality of the Worth Doing Tote, then the Well Worth It Project Bag is has the same functionality, but just in a more travel sized package.

This one’s for the projects that start out small and then don’t stay that way. Because no one ever said "I wish my bag where smaller."

The Hidden Height Project Bag is based on the beloved Hidden Potential tote, but made so that no matter what you are working on it will hold your project as it grows.

At first glance, it’s a tidy, structured project bag measuring 13" wide × 4" deep × about 8" tall. But unzip the hidden 5" expansion panel, and suddenly you’ve got extra vertical space to accommodate that sweater body, colorwork explosion, or the “this escalated quickly” moment.

The expanding zipper is finished with ribbon accents for a little visual magic (and a clear reminder that something clever is happening here). A top zipper closure keeps everything secure while you’re on the move, so your yarn, tools, and sanity all arrive together.

It pairs beautifully with the Hidden Potential Tote for a coordinated setup — one for carrying your life, one for carrying your project. A power couple, honestly.

Hi! I'm Lindsey.

We started this business when things were pretty rough for my family. They say necessity is the mother of invention, and we had plenty of needs, some fabric, a sewing machine, and iron wills. SO we got to work solving the problems makers faced that no one else was solving.

While I was teaching 8th grade grammar, I noticed the fabrics were starting to get repetitive. Why were all the knitting prints always red, black, and white? Why were the sheep always old and never young and hip? Crafters come in every age and style, tattoos and rainbow hair included, and our fabrics should reflect that.

Now every print in our shop is designed by us, and very bag is drafted in house, just like my mom and I did it, to solve real problems.

We make everything in small batches (more fabric to play with!), and we back it with lifetime repairs. It's made to last and carry what matters, whether that's yarn and books, or your laptop and life.

Oh, and the name was simple--Erin was my middle name and Lane was my mom's.
