Fabric Scraps by the Pound

Fabric Scraps by the Pound

$20.00

  • Handmade in Small Batches
  • Custom Designed Patterns

You might not know this but fabric is one of the largest polluters in the world. SO MUCH fabric ends up in landfills and it's terrible for the environment.  We try and keep our cuts to maximize the fabric and leave a little as scrap as possible.

This means your product isn't as expensive, and we don't have a lot of waste.  But we do have some. Hence, scraps by the pound.

Here's the thing you should know. I have scraps going back at least a year.  I know that I have some scraps that might even be older than that?

Why?  Because what if I cut something wrong, or something tears when I am turning a bag? I want to be able to fix that piece and not lose the entire product.

So that means sometimes, I look a little like a fabric scrap hoarder.  Which, to be fair, I kind of am.

Most of our scraps are rectangles of some kind, long and skinny, or big squares.  They would be great for scrappy quilts or visible mending, or turning them into patches for old clothes, using them as appliques, making them into buttons, sewing them to cards for the holidays, junk journaling.  I guess there are also no scrap police, so you can do anything you can think up.

These are sold by the whole pound. If you select 2 then you will receive 2 pounds of fabric scraps.

Machine wash cold, gentle cycle

Reshape, air dry.

DO NOT TUMBLE DRY.

Iron as needed.

Who is Erin.Lane?

Erin was my middle name, and Lane was my mom's.  So it's not a person so much as just this amazing thing my mom and I started building together.

Now I run the show.

Hi, I'm Lindsey, and I'm a somewhat crazy person with a sewing machine and internet connection.  I have been lucky enough to have built an amazing community of people who think what I make with my hands is cool.

I design all the fabric, a thing I never thought I would be able to do, because I got tired of seeing the same things over and over again.  All the bag designs are drafted in house, and with an amazing team of women, I have been able to do things my mom and I only dreamed would be possible.
