  • Exclusive Designs
  • Scaled to fit each item for the best result.
  • Made in the USA

I get asked all the time if X fabric is going to come back and when.  And though I would love to stock all the patterns I have designed over the years, sadly, I have not the money or the space. (Lord, the space that would require...)

So instead of these patterns wallowing away in the myriad file folders on my computer, I am bringing them back though the power of chemistry (sublimation). These items are print on demand in a sense.  I  am are not using a third party. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THESE ITEMS IS MADE IN MY STUDIO BY ME (or one of my amazing helpers.)

Please note that pattern placement will vary product to product, as well as scale.  These mock ups are just that--mock ups.  We will scale the pattern to fix the size of the product to give you the best look. This is the advantage of real people making the product and not robots.

All the images you see below were mocked-up by hand.  Some might not look super realistic, as I am not a graphic designer, and did my best and did not use AI (eww.)

That means that they will not ship next day.  We like to batch our orders to make sure we can ship things together, so we start that process every FRIDAY.  That means if you order on Thursday, it will feel really fast.  If you order on Monday, you will be waiting a full week before production begins.

If you would like to see one of our Sheeple prints, or a print you do not see listed on the website, please email me at lindsey@erinlanebags.com

No AI.

We don't use AI in our design process.  We believe in making things with our hands and supporting artists and makers. Bag patterns are drafted by hand (and often with trial and error and swear words) in our studio. And we started designing our fabric long before AI became a thing. We want to continue to honor our beginnings while also supporting other makers.

Handmade. Small Batch.

Everything we produce is made by hand in small batches.  We do everything from fabric design, to cutting, to pressing, to piecing, to turning, and finishing.  We believe in making things that are functional and fun to carry.  We live in our bags to know what works and what doesn't.  If we wouldn't carry it, we don't produce it. (And these designs had to survive my 8th grade classroom before sewing was a full time gig.)

A Family Legacy

Erin Lane began as a side hustle with my mom and myself in one 10 X 10 sq ft room. We had to take the doors off the closet to have room for my sewing chair! My mom has given me a beautiful legacy of friends and skills and it's wonderful to continue these traditions every day doing all the things we once dreamed about--like designing our own fabrics. And I would say we have come a long way from the die-cut banner made after school using die cuts (before electronic cutters.)
